His latest career milestone is a recognition of his tremendous contribution towards the advancement of pharmaceutical science and research which started in 2003 when he was enlisted as a lecturer at the KNUST.

He currently plays a senior leadership role at the university, underscoring a meteoric rise in the academic community largely driven by passion, diligence and dedication towards academic and scientific development.  He presently  heads the country's flagship science and technology university unit of quality assurance and planning, also a recent appointment at the start of this year's academic calendar.

In this past June, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), a consortium of African of scientists selected him as the winner for this year's Young African Researchers Award and awarded the 2016 Best Researcher in KNUST. These awards went to recognize the quality and authenticity of his scientific research in the field of health and pharmaceutical sciences.

His commitment towards pharmacy practice is expressed in the numerous leadership roles he has plaid in the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana in the course of his career. He is an executive member of Standing Executive Committee (SEC) as well as a Governing Board member of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) and heads the External Relations Directorate of the Society.

As the youngest lecturer to be appointed to the academic ranking of Associate Professor in recent history of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, he researches into the search for antimicrobial, wound healing and anti-inflammatory agents from medicinal plants and natural products.
